Year of the Rabbit – Chinese New Year

The Chinese New Year has begun, and it’s the Year of the Rabbit this year! The animals representing years rotate in a 12 year cycle, so the last Year of the Rabbit was in 1999.

The Chinese believe that a person’s personality is influenced by the animal ruling the year in which they were born. The personality traits related to years ruled by the rabbit are similar to the personality traits of many rabbits!

People born in the Year of the Rabbit are said to be gentle, calm, sensitive and compassionate – that sounds like a lot of rabbit personality traits, but what about happy, silly and bouncy too??

Have a good year of the rabbit!
