Milky the (Toy) Rabbit

He has long floppy ears, and soft, strokable fur. He comes together with his own little carrot that he really chews on. You can hear the crunching noises he makes as he chews his carrot!

Milky the Bunny is suitable for children over the age of 2, and is a great way to introduce children to the idea of looking after a pet without actually having to cope with the real level of responsibility required. He may also be suitable for keeping adults entertained too!

A selection of willow toys left around the house will make your rabbit happy as well as saving your furniture from being chewed by your rabbit!

The Chinese believe that a person’s personality is influenced by the animal ruling the year in which they were born. The personality traits related to years ruled by the rabbit are similar to the personality traits of many rabbits!

People born in the Year of the Rabbit are said to be gentle, calm, sensitive and compassionate – that sounds like a lot of rabbit personality traits, but what about happy, silly and bouncy too??

Rabbit willow sticks are a pet rabbit toy that are popular with most rabbits. The rabbit willow sticks can be given to the rabbits tied in a bunch or seperately, and the rabbits will strip off the bark and chew on the willow sticks. As well as keeping the rabbit occupied, chewing the willow sticks helps to prevent the rabbit’s teeth from growing too long. As you can see from this photo, Jemima loves to chew her willow sticks!

Barney and Jemima both love to play with and chew rabbit willow sticks; the willow sticks keep them occupied for ages. The rabbit willow sticks come tied up in a bunch, but I usually separate them out to give to my rabbits.

Barney and Jemima get bunches of rabbit willow sticks like these Small Pet Toy Willow Sticks, which can last up to two or three weeks unless they are chewing them a lot more than usual!

Bramble the House Rabbit

Bramble is 4 months old, and enjoys jumping and exploring and getting into places that are not allowed! Bramble’s favourite food is basil, but unusually for a rabbit he doesn’t like carrots! He also dislikes the noise of the hoover.

When not getting attention Bramble nibbles his owner Laura to stroke him, before running around Laura’s feet and nibbling at her furry slipper!

They share food bowls, water bottles, litter trays and they groom each other too. You can see them snuggling up together, wearing their rabbit harnesses in the picture below. Honey is the beige coloured rabbit, and Milly is the white rabbit with block spots.

It’s great to see that patience has paid off for this lovely, now bonded pair of rabbits. Keeping rabbits together can have its difficulties, but when you have a pair of rabbits that will be friends for life, it is well worth the effort.
