i have a baby rabbit around 4 weeks old and what should i put in his cage?

Hi Sierra, thanks for your question.
You should cover the floor of the cage with a suitable bedding (e.g. wood shavings, hay or a paper based bedding), provide a supply of fresh water that is available 24 hours a day, as well as plenty of fresh hay to eat, You can also give your rabbit some dried food, but remember that hay is the main component of a rabbit’s diet, so not too much dried or fresh food.
Additionally, you could put a toy or two in the cage with your rabbit – make sure thay are toys that are safe for rabbits.
Your local pet shop will be able to supply all of these.
Have a look at our pages about house rabbits, outdoor rabbits and feeding rabbits for more information
      Enjoy your new rabbit!
